Facts About Product Liability

Once a consumer buys a certain product from a retail store, supermarket, wholesaler or a specialty store, the consumer can expect to use the product in the intended manner without experiencing any harm or foul. There is a common understanding that the product comes with an implicit guarantee that the item is not faulty or defective in any way. In case a consumer happens to realize that the purchased item is defective, a product liability claim can be filed, especially if the defect caused any harm or injury.

If you have any questions regarding product liability or if you would like to file a product liability claim, contact one of our product liability lawyers.

Product liability lawyers assess the damage done by the defective product and they may then estimate a compensatory sum for the consumer. At the same time, a product liability lawyer can help you identify the party that is responsible for the damage and may then hold them liable for the injuries and/or damages. Once sufficient evidence has been collected, a product liability claim may then be filed with the assistance of a product liability lawyer.
